About Heather

Heather joined MassBioEd in June 2022 as Manager of Career Services. Prior to joining MassBioEd, Heather served for more than three and a half years at MassHire Metro North Workforce (MNWB) in various capacities – the most recent being Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Programs Manager. There, she developed partnerships with school districts, STEM employers, and other stakeholders, secured STEM internships for teens, and created youth/young adult career awareness opportunities in STEM. Heather co-chaired MNWB’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and led the affiliated Metro North STEM Network where she more than tripled the organization’s regional participation in MA STEM Week over three years. Heather’s career has spanned both the workforce development and education fields. She holds a Master of Arts in Regional Economic and Social Development from UMASS Lowell and two Bachelors of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Florida International University.
