About Germaine
Germaine joined MassBioEd in 2020. She recruits, screens, coaches, and supports career-changing apprenticeship program candidates. Her primary recruitment focus is connecting more women, underrepresented POC (people of color), veterans, and people who are unemployed to these career pathways in the life sciences industry. Germaine has ten years of experience in community workforce development and career coaching, and 18 years of experience as a teacher, facilitator, and trainer of adult learners. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Swarthmore College and a Master’s degree in General Management from Harvard University Extension School. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
